Grammys 2011!

Are you ready for another Grammy post? I hope so! :)


Ack! Kelly Osbourne looks like a giant purple bird! (or maybe a purple people eater!) ;) It's too ruffly and the bow is obtrusive!

Ooh....Nicole Kidman looks like a shag rug! The colors are not pretty, and the see-through ruffles are very strange! And ugly!
 
Nicki Minaj has an atrocious sense of style! This is just....HORRIBLE!! And her hair?? Can't even find the words to describe it...

This is a pretty and simple gown by Sara Bareilles, but it needs more modesty up top. I suggest a white bolero! Or black! I recently purchased a white one, and it is my new favorite item of clothing! It's so easy to make something modest.

 
So....this is Snooki! **snort** HAHA! Sorry. I just can't believe that she wants to be called SNOOKI! And what a horrible dress this is! Such a tight and....formfitting dress should not be worn on a woman with hips!

Grammy Awards 2012!

I'm thinking about going back and doing Grammy fashion through the years! What do you think? I'll do five years, I believe, and then I'll do a sixth post of how specific people's fashion has changed! :) Did any of you check out www.christianfilmcentral.com ? What'd  you think? :)

Katy Perry, what's up with your blue hair? This dress is not flattering. The color is pretty, but I just can't get over the fact that it matches her hair. ;) I really like the length of the sleeves on this, and the delicate beading, but the dress is not my favorite.
 
Adele is ALWAYS wearing black! Well, other than the 2013 Grammys....it's just a little too sparkly for my tastes. I think it would be sophisticated without the sparkles and if it had a dash of red.

I...I....I....I can't even express my feelings about this dress. Perhaps, "WHAT'S THAT??" is the best way to say it. This is a horrible outfit...

Haha! Carrie Underwood's dress kind of looks like bird poop! (no offense!) It's white.....under all that speckled stuff! The clutch is cute, though. And, the dress is modest. It's not terrible, but it's not my absolute favorite. It's very feminine and elegant, though.
 
Kimberly Perry is going to a funeral! Oh, she's not? Hmm. Every time I see black tulle on a dress, I just don't think it's attractive. It looks like a funeral shroud. Thankfully, sparkles help brighten up this dress, as does the bow. Love the black hoop earrings!

 
Ack! Corinne Bailey Rae needs to cut the ruffles! Seriously!! It's like an over the top party dress but in black...ick!


Oh look! It's Deanna Carter in a hospital green shower curtain! Not my fave color, not my fave design.

Taylor Swift Fashion-Part 2!

Hey guys! What's been up with you lately? I am back from traveling (and have been for a week!) but I totally forgot to post! Sorry about that! Are you ready for a second Taylor Swift post? Oh, ya! This is her 2012 Grammy dress! It's a beautiful color on her. She blends nicely with a natural shade. I love this picture! It totally captures her! :)




Taylor loos so cute! I wish that she went back to natural makeup and her curls, though. It just fits her better! But this dress is adorable!

What a perfectly whimsical dress for the Lorax premiere! I love how the Peter Pan collar is made from her NECK! That's a cool idea!

Oh my goodness! This sweatshirt is so cute! And the denim jeans are awesome...so is her purse!! And her hair is GORGEOUS!
 
This skirt and top from her "Begin Again" music video are so vintage that I can't even begin! They're adorable!! The colors are perfect on her, and I love the pleats in the skirt and the shirt!

The cover of her "Beautiful Eyes" CD is gorgeous!! Her hair is so amazingly curly. *SIGH*

Her hair makes for an awesome updo! It's so beautifully highlighted and blonde.

Traveling!

Hello everyone! I'm sorry I haven't posted in a bit....  Starting tomorrow, I'll be traveling for a short time, but I will be back soon! I should have a post up early next week, if I can help it.

For now....a poem I wrote about traveling! We're going to a homeschool conference in Omaha, so I'm super excited for that! Here we go....

Blog Makeover and Billboard Music Awards!

Hi guys! :) In case you haven't noticed....I gave my blog a makeover! I'd been wanting to do this for a while, and I finally did! What do you think? There's a poll at the bottom of the page about my new theme!

So....last night was the BBMA's! And....Taylor Swift took home 8 of the 11 awards she was nominated for! Just sayin'! :) Her 8 awards included....Top Album of the Year, Top Artist, Top Country Artist, and Top Country Song! Nice job, Taylor! Even though she won a lot, I can't say much for her dress. Maybe that's because there wasn't much of it there. It was relatively modest up top, but WAY too short! The color was a royal blue, and looked nice on her, though!

GACK!! Miley Cyrus, what have you done???? The outfit...is...well....REALLY bad! I guess she went to the same place to get her outfit where she got her hair done....
 
Ed Sheeran chose a comfy T-shirt and jeans and tennies to wear...no suits for him! I wonder how much hairspray it took to get his hair looking just like he rolled out of bed...

Okay, this is her dress from 2012, but I couldn't find her 2013 dress! This is certainly a...whimsical dress, to say the least! A bit...foofy for my tastes, perhaps. Although, Carrie Underwood does look like a princess!

 
Kimberly Perry of the Band Perry is almost 30? Wow...Reid needs a serious haircut. Like, dude....Kimberly's dress is a bit revealing on top, but with backed lace, it would be pretty.

Hayden Panettiere....I'll forever remember you as Gen from Ice Princess! This is a nice, modest dress! Black is a good color for her, and I like the ruffles up top. It's not clingy but not too loose!
 
Wow....I'd say that "Call Me Maybe" star Carly Rae Jepsen better ask the fashion police to give her a call! Nobody wants to see your belly button, dear.

Ummm....Ke$ha....I think someone forgot to buy you a dress, so you're stuck wearing a curtain! Ick!


Amber Rose definitely borrowed some of that curtain material from Ke$ha. Wow. It looks like somebody took some sheer black cloth and threw it on her. Hmm..

Chloe Moretz just came from "Textiles R Us". I think she ran out of one kind of fabric, so she decided to paste some other fabric on there, and so on! That's one...ugly outfit.
 
Chris Brown, the Bill Cosby sweater only works on him. I think you missed that memo.

Summer+Mom's Injury=Crazy Busy!

Hey guys, I am so sorry that I haven't posted in like....9 days! Life has gotten the best of me...:P Again! I've been busy doing other things now that it's summer, and I've been taking care of my mom! :) She's currently recovering pretty well, and is going to OT! The surgeon says she is healing perfectly, which is a huge blessing! :) Thank you for all your sweet prayers and notes throughout these last few weeks!

I'm sorry that I haven't posted my last day of school outfit, but I totally forgot to take pics of it, and I got into my PJs....so....ya. But next time I wear it, I'll take pictures!

A Little Bit of Fashion.....

Hey everyone....thank you for all your prayers! My Mom's surgery went REALLY well, but she is in lots of pain still!

I have big news!!! I am officially on summer break! :) I'll have a fashion post for you in the next few days of my last day of school outfit! :) But for now....I decided to find some modest ball gowns to share with you! :)



Cherry red, ruffly, and modest! Wow!! Gorgeous! :)

 
This is really pretty! I have a dress that has a turquoise silk skirt and then a green overlay! It gives a nice shimmery feel to the dress!


I love the skirt on this one! Plus, boleros are always good! The only thing is that it looks too....shiny, maybe. It looks really glossy.

Sorry this is a bad picture, but isn't this pretty? I just love the bow and the color!

Urgent Prayer Request!

Hey everyone on my blog! :) I have a prayer request for y'all! My mom has to have surgery today...a week and a half ago, we were unloading the dishwasher, and she dropped a glass and cut her finger really badly and had to go to the ER. The ER doctor told her she didn't cut the tendon, but she went to a hand specialist anyway. He said that she did cut the tendon, and she had nerve damage! Her surgery is today at 4 PM CT/MT. Please keep her in your prayers!!
